I'm still trying to figure things out in this crazy city. For the longest time I lived on a farm and it was cool. I took naps in the field during clear nights, and when it rained I slept in the barn with the horsies. Now I live in New York city, and boy is it different! Da peoples here say words I don't know and I don't understand. They shake my hand in funny ways. Most of the people here look mad about something. Maybe they're mad because they're confused. Back on the farm I could make anyone happy, but here it's a lot harder. Even my doctor is a grumpy puss!
Last week I went for my monthly check-up and he was grumbling the whole time. I asked him what was wrong and he said "nothing, you're perfectly healthy." I then got confused, as I usually do, and asked "well then, why don't you smile?" He looked at me for a long time. I tried to smile at him to get him to smile back, but it didn't work. That just made me sad and I started crying. He then told me to get out of his office.
I got a lollypop though, so now I'm not crying anymore!
